Proactive, Not Reactive Fire Safety for Property Managers
As a Property Manager, you’re likely already having to deal with multiple tradesmen and agencies such as electricians, plumbers, HVAC trades, locksmiths, gardeners, cleaners, painters and more.
For this reason, fire safety can be something that easily falls by the wayside and becomes a spur-of-the-moment task to organise when the need for inspections, maintenance, testing and repairs pops up. But we must emphasise the importance of staying on top of this; fire safety should be proactive, not reactive.
Managing the fire safety for a property includes everything from the endorsement and submission of the AFSS, carrying out work orders and keeping EFSM up to standard, which can all quickly stack up if you’re unprepared.
Betta Fire Protection can help you stay prepared with fire safety services designed specifically for property managers. Our packages reduce the need for finding a fire safety company at short notice or having a sub-optimal operator do the job, which can leave you and the property owner liable if something were to happen.
The Perfect Package for Property Management
Acting on behalf of the property owner can put considerable pressure on property managers to ensure the fire safety company they have chosen is reliable, cost-effective and compliant.
We understand that as a property manager, you’re probably under the pump to get things done quickly and efficiently, so we’ve created a range of fire safety packages specifically for property managers to help you stay on top of maintenance requirements and have fire safety equipment repaired promptly should anything go awry.
Avoid the hassle of having to check calendars, organise routine inspections, book urgent repairs and request quotes and with our set-and-forget All Inclusive package or our popular Preventative Maintenance package.

Best for compliance, managing
your budget and equipment safely
Unlike some operators in the industry, our accredited CFSP’s won’t just sign off on work orders and AFSS without ensuring all equipment and systems meets Australian standards, as this can leave people and property exposed to significant risk. All our work is compliant and high-quality, so you can place your trust in us.
We endeavour not only to build strong relationships with our clients, but maintain them, so you can feel confident that you’ve chosen the right company to protect the properties you manage and the residents within.

Can you provide a quote over the phone?
We generally price on a point rate. So, the number of extinguishers, detectors, fire doors, emergency lights, etc., that are required to be inspected, tested, maintained, repaired or certified will determine the price of the quote. We can provide a quote over the phone if we are given all this information and all the required standards and legislation we need to work on for the specific property. Alternatively, we can send someone to the site to provide obligation-free quotes. We often find we are not given all the information over the phone; therefore, there are variations once we get to the site. So, we prefer to come to the site. Note: Consultation and investigation work on site is chargeable.
What are the fire safety regulations property managers need to comply with?
Property managers usually represent landlords or building owners, so they must comply with the same regulations as the landlord/owner.
How often should fire safety equipment and systems be inspected?
